How to Download Leads From Leadpages: Find, Export and Back Up (2026)

Every opt-in is stored in your Leadpages account and can be exported as a CSV file. Here is where to find your leads in the Classic Builder and the new app, how the download works, and how to get each new lead sent to you automatically.

Updated November 7, 2026

Knowing how to download leads from Leadpages protects the list you are building. Every form submission is saved in your Leadpages account, and you can export it as a CSV file to open in a spreadsheet or import into another tool. Leadpages itself recommends connecting an email service or CRM as the main home for your leads, so this guide covers both: where to find and export leads in each builder, and how to have every new lead sent where you need it.

Leadpages Leads in Brief

  • Classic Builder: Leads in the navigation menu opens a searchable library for every page, site and pop-up; select leads and click Export.
  • New Leadpages app: Analyze, then Leads, lists every form submission with filters by page, form, date and text.
  • CSV files arrive by email at your account address, and the link expires after 72 hours.
  • Plans: the pricing page lists Lead CSV export on Business and up, and keeps submission history for 30 days on Pro.
  • Notifications: Lead Notifications (Classic) or Form Submission Notifications (new app) email you each new lead.

Where to See Your Leads

Which screen you use depends on the builder your pages were made in. If you are unsure, the editor guide shows how to tell.

In the Classic library, clicking a Source or Form Name filters the list to that page or form, which is the quickest way to pull the sign-ups for one webinar or offer. Rename forms to something recognizable so this works well; the forms guide explains form names.

How to Download Leads From the Classic Leads Library

  1. Open Leads from the navigation menu.
  2. Narrow the list with the search bar, date range or the No Spam filter if you only want genuine opt-ins.
  3. Select leads. Tick the top checkbox to select everything in your current search, or tick individual rows.
  4. Click Export, confirm the CSV export and click Export again.
  5. Check your email. Leadpages generates the file, which can take several minutes for large lists, and emails a link to your account address. The link expires after 72 hours.

Export One Page's Leads

From the Landing Pages dashboard, click the Actions icon next to a published page, choose View Leads, then click Export Leads. Inside the builder, the arrow next to Update has a View Leads option that takes you to the same place. Either way, the file is sent to your account email.

A few details trip people up. The consent checkbox result is not included in the CSV, so check it on the individual lead. Leads that reCAPTCHA marks as spam are left out of Lead Notification emails but still appear in the CSV. Leadpages flags spambots automatically but cannot flag human spam, and you cannot change a lead's spam status yourself.

How to Find and Export Leads in the New App

  1. Go to Analyze, then Leads in the sidebar.
  2. Filter by page, form name or date range, or search the form data.
  3. Click a submission to see every field, the timestamp and the page it came from.
  4. Export using the export option in the Leads view if your plan includes it.

The new app's help articles describe viewing and filtering but not the export button itself, so if you do not see one, check your plan against the pricing table and ask support. Form collection can be switched off per page in Page Settings. If it is off, submissions on that page are not stored at all, so confirm it is on before a launch.

Get New Leads Sent to You Automatically

Downloading a CSV now and then is fine for a small list. For anything you act on quickly, set up forwarding so each lead arrives on its own.

Email Notifications

In the Classic Builder, Lead Notifications is the default integration on new forms and works on pages, sites, pop-ups and alert bars. To send leads to a colleague or a sales inbox, open the form's Lead Notifications settings, click Manage Available Emails, add the address and have its owner click the confirmation link. Back in the form, click Add Another Contact, choose the address, then save and update the page. The emails include standard fields (email, name, phone, address, city, state, zip code and comment) but not custom fields from your email service. They come from no-reply@notifications.leadpages.com or no-reply@leadpages.net, so add both to your contacts if they land in spam.

In the new app, enable Form Submission Notifications in Account Settings for every page, or set notifications per page in page settings. The sidebar's Routines can also send a scheduled summary, such as a weekly email recap of your leads and page performance.

Email Tools, CRMs and Webhooks

Connecting an email platform or CRM means every lead lands in a list you can segment and message. Classic forms add integrations in the form's settings; the new app uses Manage, then Connectors, with automations that map form fields to your tool. For anything not listed, the new app supports webhooks under Account Settings, Organization, Webhooks, which can send form submissions to Zapier, Make or your own system. Setup details for specific tools are in email and CRM integrations, MailerLite, AWeber and Drip.

Keep a Reliable Backup of Your Lead List

  • Make your email tool the main record. Leadpages says that if an integration has an outage, it stores the opt-ins and sends them once the service is back, so a connected tool rarely misses leads.
  • Export before deleting. Deleted leads go to the Deleted filter and can be restored, but permanently deleted leads cannot be recovered.
  • Export on a schedule if you rely on the Leadpages library, for example monthly or after each campaign.
  • Mind the Pro history window. The pricing page lists 30 days of submission history on Pro, so a connected tool matters more on that plan.
  • Export before cancelling. Leadpages says most account areas become inaccessible once a subscription ends.

Leads cannot be added to the Leadpages library by hand, so imports of older lists belong in your email tool. If you deliver a freebie after sign-up, the lead magnet delivery guide covers the thank-you page and email routes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I see all my leads on Leadpages?

In the Classic Builder, click Leads in the account navigation menu to open the leads library for every page, site and pop-up. In the new app, go to Analyze, then Leads (formerly Submissions). From a single page, use View Leads in the Classic page menu, or filter the new app's list by page.

Why didn't my Leadpages CSV download arrive?

The export is emailed rather than downloaded in the browser, and large files can take several minutes to generate. Check the inbox of your Leadpages account email, including spam. The link expires after 72 hours, so run the export again if it is older than that.

Can I export leads on the Pro plan?

Leadpages' pricing table lists Lead CSV export on Business, Grow and Optimize, not on Pro, and Pro keeps form submission history for 30 days. On Pro, connect an email tool or webhook so leads are stored outside Leadpages. Compare plans in Leadpages pricing.

Can I get every new lead forwarded to my email?

Yes. Classic forms use Lead Notifications by default, which emails each opt-in to your account address, and you can add and confirm extra addresses. In the new app, turn on Form Submission Notifications in Account Settings or in a page's settings.

Does the CSV include consent and custom fields?

Leadpages says the consent field does not appear in the CSV from the Leads tab; view it on the individual lead instead. Custom fields from your email service are also left out of Lead Notification emails, though they still reach the integration.

What happens to my leads if I cancel Leadpages?

Leadpages says you lose access to most of your account when the subscription ends. Export your leads while the account is still open, and see how to cancel Leadpages for the full list of what stops working.
