Does Leadpages work with Wix, Squarespace, Shopify and the rest of the platforms people build on? It works alongside all of them, but only a few have a native connection. On the Leadpages integrations page, Shopify is the one store or website platform listed, and WordPress has its own Leadpages plugin. Everywhere else you combine the two tools through three routes: link to Leadpages pages, embed Leadpages pop-ups with a script, or publish Leadpages pages on a subdomain of your own domain.
Leadpages Platform Compatibility at a Glance
| Platform | Native connection? | Best route |
|---|---|---|
| Shopify | Yes, listed integration | Connect the store and add checkout buttons |
| WordPress and Elementor | Leadpages plugin (paid plans) | Publish through the plugin |
| WooCommerce | No | Add-to-cart links from Leadpages buttons |
| Wix | No | Subdomain, Custom Code for pop-ups, links |
| Squarespace | No | Subdomain, code injection for pop-ups, links |
| Weebly (Square) | No | Subdomain, Embed Code element, links |
| Magento, Blogger, Typepad | No | Subdomain and links; scripts where allowed |
| Hand-coded, Bootstrap, Laravel, Gatsby | No | Script in your layout template, subdomain |
The Three Routes That Work With Any Platform

Because most site builders have no Leadpages connection, the same three methods come up again and again. Knowing them once saves you hunting for an app that does not exist.
- Link: publish a page in Leadpages and point a button or menu item on your site to its URL. Leadpages advises against domain masking, which can lose opt-in data, so link directly.
- Pop-up script: from a pop-up's Plain Text Link publishing tab, copy the script into your site (Leadpages recommends the page head), then add the pop-up's
data-leadbox-popupattribute to any button or image. On builders with simple link widgets, set the link to the pop-up's Leadpages address instead. - Subdomain: in Leadpages, go to Manage, then Custom Domains, and connect a subdomain such as go.yoursite.com. It needs a CNAME record to customers.htmlpub.com plus a TXT record, added wherever your DNS is managed. Leave the root domain alone: Leadpages warns that connecting a root domain hides the site already there.
Leadpages and Wix
Wix is not on the Leadpages integrations list, and some pages online describe a Wix app connection that Leadpages itself does not document. Use the three routes instead. For pop-ups, Wix's help center explains adding scripts under Settings, then Development & integrations, then Custom Code, where you choose Head, Body start or Body end and apply the code to all pages or selected ones. Wix notes the site must be published with a connected domain for this to work. For campaign pages, connect a subdomain of your Wix domain to Leadpages and add the DNS records in the domain's settings.
Leadpages and Squarespace
There is no Leadpages app or block for Squarespace either. To add a pop-up across the site, paste the Leadpages script into Squarespace's header code injection; to add it to one page, use Page Header Code Injection under that page's gear icon and Advanced tab. Squarespace lists code injection on its Core, Plus, Advanced and some legacy plans, does not run custom code on checkout pages, and says its support team cannot troubleshoot custom code. Landing pages for ads are better on a Leadpages subdomain, where A/B testing on the Grow plan and above and Smart Traffic on Optimize are available, features the Leadpages features guide explains.
Leadpages and Shopify
Shopify is the platform with a real integration. According to Leadpages, you link your store, select the products to promote, then build a page with product details, images and a checkout button that sends visitors to your Shopify cart. It works with Shopify discount codes and promotions, needs no theme customization or Liquid code, and tracks click-throughs and completed purchases. Leadpages does not state which plan includes it, and active integrations are limited by plan, so check the plan table before you rely on it.
To show a Leadpages opt-in pop-up on your Shopify storefront instead, add the script through the theme code editor (Online Store, then the theme menu, then Edit code). Shopify recommends duplicating the theme first and warns that code changes can be removed if they conflict with a theme update. WordPress is the one site platform with an official Leadpages plugin, which publishes Leadpages pages at addresses on your WordPress domain and is available on paid plans. The Leadpages WordPress plugin guide covers installation and settings. Elementor users can keep building the main site in Elementor and use the plugin for campaign pages; to trigger a Leadpages pop-up from an Elementor button, set the button link to the pop-up's Leadpages URL, the method Leadpages describes for page builders with link widgets. WooCommerce has no integration, but Leadpages buttons can use WooCommerce add-to-cart URLs, a setup explained step by step in the WooCommerce landing page guide. If you are weighing a full switch, see Leadpages vs WordPress.
Weebly, GoDaddy and Website Hosts
Weebly, now part of Square, follows the same pattern as Wix, with its Embed Code element taking the pop-up script; the Leadpages and Weebly guide has the steps. Hosts such as Bluehost, FastComet or Amazon Web Services are not page builders, so there is nothing to integrate: if they run WordPress, use the plugin; otherwise publish to a subdomain by adding the Leadpages DNS records where your domain is managed. For GoDaddy's DNS screen specifically, see Leadpages with GoDaddy.
Magento, Blogger and Other Builders
Magento, Blogger, Typepad, Adobe Muse sites and builders such as Builderall have no Leadpages connection. A subdomain and links always work. Scripts work only where the platform lets you add JavaScript; Leadpages notes that some builders block it and suggests linking to the pop-up URL or a landing page instead. Note that you cannot build a Leadpages page inside another builder like Builderall: the page is created in Leadpages and linked from your other site.
Custom Code: Bootstrap, Laravel and Static Sites
On a site you control, such as a Bootstrap template, a Laravel app or a Gatsby build, you have full access to the HTML. Paste the pop-up script once into the shared layout or head template, then add the data attribute to whichever buttons should open it. There is no data sync between Leadpages and your application; to move leads into your own system, Leadpages lists webhooks that send signed JSON to an HTTPS endpoint, an API and a Zapier integration. Payments taken on Leadpages pages run through its Stripe checkout rather than your app.
Which Route Should You Choose?
Match the route to the job rather than the platform:
- Collecting emails from visitors already on your site: a pop-up script, placed on the pages with the most traffic.
- Running paid ads or a launch: a subdomain, so each campaign gets a focused page on your own brand, separate from the main site's menu and theme.
- Testing an idea quickly: a plain link to a page on the free Leadpages address, then move it to a subdomain once it works.
- Selling a product: the Shopify integration if you run a Shopify store, add-to-cart links for WooCommerce, or Stripe checkouts on the Leadpages page itself.
Whichever you choose, test the full path on a phone before you send traffic: open the page or pop-up, submit the form and confirm the lead arrives in your email tool or CRM.

Does Leadpages work with Wix?
Yes, side by side, though not through a native integration. Wix does not appear on the Leadpages integrations list. Link Wix buttons to Leadpages pages, add Leadpages pop-up scripts through Wix's Custom Code settings, or publish Leadpages pages on a subdomain of your Wix domain.
Can I install Leadpages on Squarespace?
There is no Leadpages app for Squarespace. You can add a Leadpages pop-up script with Squarespace code injection, which Squarespace offers on its Core, Plus, Advanced and some legacy plans, or point a subdomain at Leadpages for standalone landing pages.
Does Leadpages integrate with Shopify?
Yes. Shopify is listed on the Leadpages integrations page. You connect your store, choose products, and add checkout buttons that send visitors to your Shopify cart. Leadpages says it works with Shopify discount codes and needs no theme or Liquid edits.
Can I use Leadpages with Elementor?
Yes, alongside it. Publish Leadpages pages to your WordPress site with the Leadpages plugin on a paid plan, or trigger a Leadpages pop-up from an Elementor button by linking it to the pop-up's Leadpages URL. See the WordPress plugin guide.
What can Leadpages do that Squarespace is not built for?
Leadpages is built around conversion pages: A/B testing on Grow and above, Smart Traffic AI routing and heatmaps on Optimize, unlimited traffic and leads on all plans, plus pop-ups, alert bars and Stripe checkouts. Many people keep Squarespace for the main site and use Leadpages for campaign pages.
Is there a Leadpages desktop app for Windows?
Leadpages runs in a web browser, so you use it the same way on Windows, Mac or a Chromebook. There is nothing to install on your computer.
