Getting fonts on Leadpages right, along with your logo, photos and video, is most of what makes a template look like your brand rather than a demo. Leadpages ships with more than 60 built-in fonts and lets you upload your own (the wider builder toolset is summarized in Leadpages features), stores images in one library across pages, and embeds video from the major hosts. Where steps differ, this guide notes whether they apply to the Classic Builder, Page Studio or the newer Leadpages app.
Media in Leadpages at a Glance
- Fonts: 60+ built in; upload up to 10 custom families (TTF, OTF, WOFF, WOFF2, 1 MB per file).
- Images: JPG, PNG, GIF, ICO and SVG, up to 15 MB each, with a built-in crop and filter editor.
- Video: YouTube, Vimeo or Wistia by URL or embed code; no direct uploads.
- Storage: the pricing page lists 5 GB on Pro up to 25 GB on Optimize.
Change Fonts and Upload a Custom Font

The built-in list includes families such as Lato, Montserrat, Open Sans, Poppins, Alegreya, Roboto Slab and Georgia. To set fonts across a page, use the global styles: in the Classic Builder that is Page Styles, then Type Styles, which also controls countdown timer text. In the newer app, select text and change the font family, size, weight, line height and letter spacing in the Inspector Panel, or set a heading and body font once in a Brand Kit.
To add a font your business already uses:
- Open Brand from your account navigation menu and click Upload Font.
- Name the font and click Add beside each style you have: regular, bold and italic.
- Upload the files in TTF, OTF, WOFF or WOFF2 format, each 1 MB or smaller.
- Open the builder for a page, site or pop-up, select text and pick the font from the top of the font list.
You can hold up to 10 custom font families. Make sure your font license covers web embedding, since a desktop-only license usually does not. Deleting a font cannot be undone and can break the look of pages that use it, so swap those pages to another font first.
Logo Fonts and Brand Kits
A logo should be an image, not live text in a logo font: it renders identically everywhere and does not depend on font loading. In the newer app, a Brand Kit stores your logo, colors, fonts and brand voice, and can pull them from your existing website; the AI builder then uses the kit for new pages. The Brand Kits article lists three kits on Grow, five on Optimize and ten on Scale.
Add Your Logo and Images
- Drag an image widget onto the page (Classic) or add an image from the Add panel (newer app), or select an existing template image to replace it.
- Open the image manager with the photo icon and choose Upload Images. Drag files in or use Select File.
- Set a title and alt text when you select the image, so screen readers and search engines know what it shows; the Leadpages SEO guide covers the rest of the on-page settings.
- Size and align it. Classic images fill their space; use the paintbrush icon for a width slider or a maximum width in pixels, and choose left, center or right. The newer app uses Object Fit (such as Cover or Contain) and Object Position.
- Link it if needed with the link icon, exactly like a button; the buttons and links guide lists the options.
For logos, Leadpages recommends a PNG with a transparent background so it sits cleanly on any color. Upload images at the size you need, or crop several to the same proportions before uploading, if they will sit side by side. Classic shapes (Square, Rounded, Circular) round the corners without cropping, so a true circle needs a square image.
Edit, Reuse and Manage Images
Every upload lands in the Images library, which you reach from the navigation menu and search by file name, title, alt text or type. The editor can crop, flip, rotate, adjust brightness and contrast, and add filters, frames or text; Save Copy keeps the original. SVG files cannot be edited, and premium images in the library cannot be removed. Images load as visitors scroll by default; tick Do Not Optimize This Image only for an image that must appear at full resolution immediately, such as a hero shot.

For an edge-to-edge image, use it as a section background rather than an image widget. Section styles include a background image or color, an overlay to keep text readable, and a minimum height that can be set to full screen. Two cautions apply on phones: background images scale and crop to fit narrower screens, so keep the important part of the photo near the center, and text over a busy photo needs the overlay. The mobile editing guide shows how to check and fix each device view.
Find Free Photos for Your Pages

Most templates arrive with photos you can keep or replace; the template customizing guide covers swapping them. The Classic image manager also has an Image Generator that creates three AI images per prompt from your monthly credits, with options for style, composition, color and mood. The help center does not describe a free stock photo library inside the page builder, so for stock images:
- Download from a free photo site and read its license, since some require a credit and some limit commercial use.
- Resize to about the width the page displays and compress before uploading, so pages stay fast.
- Avoid images with visible third-party logos or watermarks.
Embed YouTube, Vimeo or Wistia Video
- Upload the video to YouTube, Vimeo or Wistia. Leadpages cannot host video files, and links to Dropbox or Google Drive do not embed.
- Copy the embed code (on YouTube, Share then Embed) or, in Page Studio and the newer app, the video URL. Leadpages recommends iframe code.
- Add the video widget or element and paste the code or URL.
- Resize with the layout, not the code: the player scales to its column or container.
- Check it on the live page, because videos show only a preview image in the builder.
Page Studio's video element has Fit or Fill modes, opacity, an Autoplay switch and a Controls toggle. In the Classic Builder, autoplay depends on parameters in the host's embed code, which Leadpages does not troubleshoot. Most browsers block autoplay with sound, so expect autoplaying video to start muted. Branding, related videos and share links are set in the video host's own settings.
Three-Part Video Series and Video Reviews
A three-part launch series is simplest as three pages, one video each, with a button on each page linking to the next and the sign-up form on the first. A short testimonial or review clip works best right above the main call to action, embedded the same way. Leadpages warns that embed code with extra scripts can cause problems, so use the plain iframe.
Add a Slideshow, Drawing or Gallery
The help center's widget list has no slideshow, carousel or drawing tool. For a rotating gallery, paste a third-party gallery's code into an HTML widget, following the custom code guide, or use a lightweight animated GIF. For hand-drawn arrows or sketches, create them in a design app, export a transparent PNG and upload it like any image.

Can I use a custom font on Leadpages?
Yes. Upload it under Brand in your account menu with Upload Font, in TTF, OTF, WOFF or WOFF2 format, up to 1 MB per file and 10 custom font families. It then appears at the top of the font list in the builder. You need the rights to use the font on the web.
Does Leadpages have free images?
Templates come with their own images, and the Classic image manager includes an AI Image Generator that uses monthly credits. The help center does not document a built-in free stock photo library, so for stock photos download from a free photo site, check its license, and upload the files.
Can I upload a video directly to Leadpages?
No. Video must be hosted on YouTube, Vimeo or Wistia and embedded by URL or embed code. Files on Dropbox or Google Drive do not produce a usable embed.
Can I add a slideshow to Leadpages?
The help center does not list a slideshow or carousel widget. Embed a gallery from a third-party tool in an HTML widget, use an animated GIF, or stack images in columns.
Why does my logo have a white box around it?
The file is a JPG or a PNG without transparency. Export the logo as a PNG with a transparent background and upload it again.
Which image formats does Leadpages accept?
The Classic image widget accepts JPG, PNG, ICO, GIF and SVG files up to 15 MB. SVG files cannot be edited in the image editor and cannot be used as a social preview image.
